A Yavapai County Sheriff’s K9 seized 100-thousand fentanyl pills connected to a traffic stop last Wednesday. The unit attempted a vehicle stop on Interstate-17 in Camp Verde, with the help of a patrol deputy. The vehicle left the scene and deputies didn’t follow it. The suspect vehicle was later found in Camp Verde, but the suspects were not with the vehicle and their location is unknown. The suspects did leave behind about 100-thousand fentanyl pills in the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to inspect for evidence and fingerprints.
