Wistrcill Misses A Jumper At The Buzzer As NAU Falls To Montana On The Road 67-66 Saturday

Freshman Jack Wistrcill missed a shot at the buzzer as NAU falls at Montana, 67-66 Saturday. NAU went the last 2:59 of the game without a field goal and was one of their last 11 from the field. The Lumberjacks have lost nine of 11 games, and six straight games, by five points or less. NAU lost to both Montana State and Montana by two points total. Carson Towt led the Lumberjacks with 23 points and 12 rebounds and Xavier Fuller added 16. Jalen Cone struggled as he had ten points on five-of-13 shooting. Montana’s Aanen Moody led the Griz with 26 points, hitting seven three-pointer. NAU will head back home for three straight in the Skydome, starting Monday against the Idaho State Bengals. Tip time is at 6 p.m.
