Trent McLaughlin Hits A Game-Winning Three With 2.8 Seconds Left As NAU Beat Incarnate Word Saturday, 76-75

Trent McLaughlin hit a three-pointer with 2.8 seconds to play as the NAU Lumberjacks beat the Cardinals from Incarnate Word, 76-75 Saturday afternoon. It’s the second straight game that NAU has won on the last shot of the game. McLaughlin led the Jacks with 20 points, 15 of them coming in the second half. It’s the third straight game McLaughlin has scored 20 points or more. Diego Campisano added a career-high 17 points and seven rebounds. Fifteen of his points came in the first half. Jayden Jackson chipped in with 14 points in the win. NAU has won three straight games and are 5-5 overall. The Jacks take on their former Big Sky Rival Southern Utah Thunderbirds next Saturday at the Rolle Activity Center. Tip time is at 2 p.m.
