Prescott Police Department will be part of a Tri-City DUI task force during Memorial Day weekend. The patrols are part of an effort to combat impaired driving over the busy weekend. Extra enforcement over the holiday was made possible by grant funding through the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. The Tri-City DUI task force says it will continue to conduct details throughout the year. Drivers are encouraged by the Prescott Police Department to drive sober, designate a driver or call for a ride to avoid any devastating accidents.
