The Northern Lights Stretched South Into Arizona And Beyond Early Monday Morning

Did you see the light show early Monday morning? The Northern Lights, also known as aurora borealis, put on a show across over 30 states overnight, including Arizona. Skies cleared just enough to see different colors in the sky just after midnight in Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon, in the White Mountains and even reports of sightings in southern New Mexico. Scientists say a severe geomagnetic storm hit earth, sending the colors further south than normal. We’ve had people submit pictures to the KAFF News Facebook page, so go check out the thread.
