Firefighters in the Coconino National Forest are managing a fire west of Clints Well that was started by lightning. The Wilbur Fire started on May 21st and is not a risk to any buildings and there are currently no road closures, although smoke may be visible to those in nearby areas. Managers for the Mogollon Rim Ranger District of the Coconino National Forest say the fire is ideal for managing and that they will allow it to continue naturally. The Wilbur Fire, has burned two acres and is located south of West Clear Creek Wilderness and is burning at a low intensity.
