The Flagstaff Airport Is Closing Its Runway For A Week Starting This Sunday For Repaving

Flagstaff’s Pulliam Airport is temporarily closing its runway Sunday for a week due to pavement maintenance on the runway. Officials say the runway will be closed from July 9th through midnight July 15th. Commercial passenger service and fixed-wing aircraft operations won’t be available during this time. Helicopter operations will continue as normal. The project is being done in cooperation with ADOT’s Airport Pavement Management Systems Program. The airport will get a new surface for the runway, along with new pavement markings. If you have any questions about a flight that may be affected by the airport’s closure, call your airline directly. For more information log onto FlyFlagstaffAZ.com.
