The First Major Snowstorm Left Its Mark On Northern Arizona Sunday

The first major snowstorm left its mark on Northern Arizona Sunday. Some areas received almost a foot of snow. Parks picked nearly a foot of snow, Kachina Village received just over 11 inches, the Flagstaff Airport received nearly 11 inches of snow, while Munds Park saw just over ten inches of snow. Williams received between eight-and-nine inches of snow, Bellemont got almost nine inches, downtown Flagstaff received nearly eight and the Flagstaff Mall had five inches of snow. Arizona Snowbowl got 15 inches of fresh powder. Outside of Flagstaff, Sedona got two inches of snow, while the Prescott Courthouse saw four inches, Prescott Airport received three, Prescott Valley had two inches and Chino Valley saw nearly two inches. We will see sunny skies and cold temperatures through Wednesday night and Thursday, when we will be expecting another storm to come through Northern Arizona.
