The City Of Flagstaff Launches A New Volunteer Community Initiative Called The “Snow Hero Program.”

The City of Flagstaff is launching a new community program called the, “Snow Hero Program.” The program is to increase safety and accessibility to the city’s neighborhoods. The program will assist residents in need with help clearing their sidewalks of snow and ice, by matching them with a “Snow Hero” volunteer. The city’s goal is to create a network of dedicated volunteers, or “Snow Heros,” to help residents and to foster a community where sidewalk safety and accessibility are a shared responsibility.
