The Bear Fire Contained After Starting Monday Morning Near Marshall Lake, South Of Flagstaff

The Bear Fire has been contained to around an acre hours after it started Monday morning near Marshall Lake. The fire was noticed at around 11 a.m. and has burned about an acre. The fire burned through timber and grass and was producing noticeable smoke. There were no values at risk or structures immediately threatened. Fire crews built a containment line around the fire, which has been reduced to just minimal smoke. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
