Prescott’s Tenette Drops 38 As The Badgers Beat Flagstaff, 78-35 Monday

Prescott's Uriah Tenette attempts to dunk over Flagstaff's Ben Griese

Prescott junior guard Uriah Tenette looked to be in playoff mode as he scored 26 points in the first-half, including 18 in the second quarter alone to finish with 38 points as the Badgers beat Flagstaff on their home floor, 78-35 Monday. Tenette rarely missed, including a break-away two-handed dunk in the second half. Junior center Zane Gaul added 12 points in the win. Conor O’brien-Piubeni led the Eagles with nine points, and Jake Centner added eight for the Eagles, who fall to 7-1 in the Grand Canyon Region. Flagstaff will be on the road, right up the street, at Coconino Wednesday. Prescott improves to 13-1 overall, 10-0 in the region and hosts Mingus, also Wednesday.
