Prescott Valley Police K9 teams are hosting a demonstration July 18th after the culmination of four days of intensive training. The demonstration will begin at 6 p.m. with doors at 5 p.m., and take place at the Findlay Toyota Center on Main Street in Prescott Valley. Entry for the event is free to the public. Officials say this year’s focus will be on tactical leadership and tracking. Additionally, teams will also learn trauma first aid for the dogs. During the demonstration, units will reenact realistic scenarios to show the K9 team’s skills in fighting crime. Shirts, hats, dog toys and other products will all be on sale at the event.
