Prescott Police have arrested two people in connection with a taxi cab armed robbery back in January in Prescott. Officials say 50-year-old Christopher Caudle and 47-year-old Kristie Chilton entered the taxi at around 10:25 a.m. in the 100 block of North Arizona Street. Caudle pointed a hand gun at the female driver, who was told to drive while still at gunpoint. She was then told to pull into a parking lot in the 500-block of Sixth Street where she was ordered out of the vehicle. Caudle and Chilton then drove away in the vehicle, with the victim’s belongings inside. The vehicle was later found in the parking lot of the Hilton Garden Inn in the 300-block of North Montezuma Street. The two were found on Saturday at around 2:41 p.m. They were booked into the Yavapai County Jail on charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault, kidnapping, theft of means of transportation and disorderly conduct. Caudle was also charged with resisting arrest as he tried to flee police. He was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
