The Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise announced Thursday that they have joined forces with Hard Rock Sportsbook to launch a mobile gaming app in Arizona. Navajo Gaming’s Interim Chief Executive Officer Brian Parrish says “the Hard Rock Sportsbook mobile sports wagering platform and our brick-and-mortar operations will offer a broad range of wagers, marketing promotions and cross-marketing offers that will be unique to the Navajo and Hard Rock brands.” The sports gaming app will only be available in Arizona, since New Mexico doesn’t allow online sports gaming. Phase Two in the agreement will be building physical sports books at their casinos, starting at Twin Arrows Casino east of Flagstaff. As for the old Horseman’s Lodge property, it has been placed into the state’s gaming compact, however Parrish says they still haven’t decided what they are going to do there as of yet. There’s no word on when the sports book app will launch.
