The NAU women’s basketball team opened up their home schedule Wednesday at the Rolle Activity Center with a decisive, 91-37 win over Benedictine Mesa. The Jacks got out to a 25-10 lead after the first quarter and held the Redhawks to four points in the second quarter en route to the win. Olivia Moran and Saniyah Neverson led the Jacks with 13 points apiece. NAU will head back on the road Sunday as they travel to La Jolla, California to take on the Tritons of UC-San Diego. The win improves NAU’s record to 1-2 on the season. Sunday’s tip time will be at 3 p.m.
