The NAU women’s basketball team gave Big Sky-leading Eastern Washington its first Big Sky loss of the season and snapping their ten-game winning streak, but needed overtime to do it, as the Lumberjacks beat the Eagles, 89-81 in the Skydome Saturday. The win moves NAU into a tie for the conference lead, with Eastern Washington, with a 5-1 conference record. NAU lead the Eagles 58-47 after three, but Eastern Washington outscored the Jacks 27-16 to send the game into overtime. The Jacks then outscored the Eagles 16-8 in overtime in the win. Sophie Glancey led the Jacks with 23 points and nine rebounds as six Lumberjacks scored in double-figures in the win. Emily Rodabaugh scored 14 points and Saniyah Neverson pulled down a career-high 12 rebounds for NAU. The Jacks go on the road for four games, starting in Ogden, Utah Thursday as they take on the Weber State Wildcats.
