NAU Women Get Back On The Winning Track, Downs Portland State Saturday, 89-73

The NAU women’s basketball team got back to winning Saturday after an 89-73 win over the Portland State Vikings Saturday at the Skydome. The Jacks got out to an 18-5 lead at the end of the first quarter en route to the win. Sophie Glancey led the Jacks with 21 points and nine rebounds while Emily Rodabaugh added 18 in the win. NAU had five players in double figures, including Taylor Feldman who had 12 points and career-high nine assists. NAU shot 51-percent from the field. The Lumberjacks can be in the driver’s seat in the Big Sky Conference with a win at Eastern Washington Thursday. Both teams are tied for the lead in the conference, but NAU holds the edge after beating the Eagles on the road earlier this season.
