NAU and Montana played a close, physical game in the Skydome Saturday, but it was the Grizzlies that came out on top, 89-84, over the Lumberjacks. NAU led by two points after three quarters, but Montana outscored the Jacks in the fourth, by hitting key three-point shots and free throws down the stretch to get the win. Lea Beattie led the Jacks with 22 points. Mack Konig led the Griz with 24. The game featured 15 lead changes and 11 ties. Montana hit 14 three’s in the game for 41-percent from beyond the arc. The Jacks were 5-of-18 from three point range. The NAU women will be on the road next week as they head to Portland State Thursday and Sacramento State Saturday.
