NAU Women Beat Southern Utah, Improve To Program-Best 8-3 Start After First 11 Games Of The Season

The NAU women’s basketball team is on a roll heading into Christmas after an 81-70 win over Southern Utah Thursday in Cedar City. Senior Emily Rodabaugh led the Jacks with 19 points and nine rebounds, shooting 4-of-6 from three-point range. Grace Beasley added 18 points and nine rebounds and Sophie Glancey just missed a double-double with nine points and eight rebounds. Olivia Moran chipped in with 12 points in the win. NAU is now 8-3 on the season, which is the best 11-game start to a season in program history. NAU will open its Big Sky Conference schedule at home next Saturday against the Northern Colorado Bears. The game also marks the Dome Opener for either the men’s or women’s team. Tip time next Saturday in the Skydome is 2 p.m.
