NAU Needed Double Overtime To Beat Idaho State On The Road Thursday, 92-88

Jayden Jackson hit a shot with 42-seconds left, and Trent McLaughlin stole a pass, both in double overtime as the NAU Lumberjacks finished the game on a 7-0 run to beat the Idaho State Bengals 92-88 Thursday night. NAU was down by 12 late in the second half and went on a 13-0 run to get back in the game. Carson Basham scored a career-high 33 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to lead NAU. Trent McLaughlin added 20 points and Jayden Jackson chipped in with 15 points and eight rebounds in the win. NAU finishes their regular season road schedule Saturday afternoon in Ogden, Utah against the Weber State Wildcats. Tip time is at 2 p.m.
