The NAU Lumberjacks got out to a 10-1 lead at the start of the game, but GCU came back and took the lead for good as the Antelopes beat the Jacks, 89-55 at GCU Arena in Phoenix Sunday. Just like the first game of the season for NAU, Liam Lloyd led the Jacks with 16 points and was the only Lumberjack in double figures. The Lopes had four players in double-figures, with Sydney Curry leading the way with 17 points. The Lopes shot 56-percent from the floor, while NAU shot 39-percent. NAU played without forward Carson Towt and guard Jack Wistrcill, who have yet to make their season debuts due to injury. NAU is 0-2 on the season and will head to Seattle Wednesday to take on the Seattle Redhawks. Tip time is at 8 p.m.
