NAU Men And Women’s Hoops Beat Idaho Saturday

The NAU men’s and women’s basketball teams each picked up a win over the Idaho Vandals Saturday. The men played their best Big Sky Conference game of the season as they knocked off the Vandals, 72-50, in Moscow, Idaho. Senior Nik Mains led the Lumberjacks with 14 points and six rebounds and senior Xavier Fuller added 12 points in the win. NAU held Idaho to 37-percent shooting from the field and just 15-percent from three-point range. NAU shot 53-percent from the floor and 47-percent from three in the win. On the women’s side, Olivia Moran led the Jacks with 20 points and her sister Nyah added 17 as NAU beat Idaho 87-78 to complete the season sweep of the Vandals this season. Emily Rodabaugh chipped in with 17 in the win. Both teams are back in action against Northern Colorado next Saturday.
