NAU Led By 15 In The First Half, But Falls To Idaho Saturday In The Skydome, 86-76

The NAU Lumberjacks led by as many as 15 in the first half, but Idaho used increased defensive pressure and made key shots down the stretch to beat the Lumberjacks 86-76 Saturday in the Skydome. Idaho came back from that deficit with a 9-0 run and making ten of their last 12 shot of the first half to take a 42-40 lead at halftime. During that stretch, NAU made just one of ten from the field. Lumberjack sophomore guard Oakland Fort scored a career-high 25 points in the loss. Trent McLaughlin added 18 for NAU. The Jacks now head on to the road for the final time this regular season this coming week. They will first head to Pocatello, Idaho Thursday to take on the Idaho State Bengals. Tip time is at 7 p.m.
