NAU Falls To Idaho State At Home, 75-70, Monday

The NAU Lumberjacks led Idaho State for over 29-minutes Monday night, but an 18-3 run over six minutes of the second half, carried the Bengals to a win over NAU, 75-70, in the Skydome. The Jacks led 38-32 at halftime, but Idaho State outscored NAU 43-32 in the second half. Carson Towt led the Jacks with 16 points and eight assists and Jalen Cone added 12 in the loss. The loss is NAU’s seventh straight when the game is decided by five points or less. During that stretch, the Jacks lost by 19 total points. They are also 2-and-10 in the last 12 games decided by five points or less. The Jacks continue their homestand Thursday when they host Sacramento State. Tip time is at 6 p.m.
