Mountain Line transit services will be free Thursday, in honor of “Dump the Pump Day.” National Dump the Pump Day is part of an effort to help the environment by encouraging drivers to use public transportation instead of cars. As gas continues to reach historically high prices, taking the Mountain Line may also be more affordable for some. According to Mountain Line, a household can save nearly $10,000 a year by downsizing to one car. Additional information on Mountain Line routes and passes can be found on Mountain Line’s website.
