Coconino senior guard Memphis James scored a career-high 34 points as the Coconino Panthers punched their ticket into the 4A state playoffs with a 69-51 win over AZ College Prep in a play-in round game Friday night in Flagstaff. Coconino had a great, all-around effort to get the win and head into the playoffs. Senior Ivory Washington added 26 points, which included a double-clutch bank shot three pointer at the buzzer at the end of the third quarter. Johnathan Kearney led the Knights with 20 points. Coconino will head to Bradshaw Mountain to take on the Bears Thursday night in the first round of the 4A State Tournament.
