A Freeze Warning is in effect for early Monday morning for some areas of Northern Arizona above 3,000-feet. Cities and towns in the warning area include: Prescott, Prescott Valley, Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Cordes Junction, Payson, Ash Fork and Seligman. Temperatures are expected to range from 25-to-30 degrees above 4,000-feet and 30-to-35 degrees above 3,000-feet. The warning is in effect from 2 a.m. until 9 a.m. If you are in the warning area, take steps to protect plants from the cold. Also, protect your outdoor water pipes from freezing by wrapping or draining them, or allow a slow drip.
