Former Yavapai County Supervisor Jack Smith Files Paperwork To Challenge Congressman Eli Crane In CD2

Former Yavapai County Supervisor Jack Smith has filed paperwork to challenge Congressman Eli Crane for his District 2 seat in the House of Representatives. Smith sat on the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors until 2019, when President Trump appointed him state director of the Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development program. Crane is a freshman Congressman, in his first term after he beat then Congressman Tom O’Halleran. Smith served District 5 in Yavapai County, when he served on the board. District 5 covers Prescott, Prescott Valley and other nearby areas of the county.
