A Red Flag Warning has been issued for parts of Northern Arizona for Monday, including Prescott, Prescott Valley, Seligman, along Interstate-40 east of Flagstaff and part of the Navajo Nation. The National Weather Service says winds are forecast to be 25-to-35 miles per hour, with wind gusts 45-to-55 miles per hour at times. It’s also expected to be dry in these areas with humidity levels between five-and-15 percent. If a fire should start, the potential for it to rapidly spread and intensify is high. The warning runs from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.

A Wind Advisory will also be in effect Monday, this for the Flagstaff area, Williams, Munds Park and the Grand Canyon from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m.
