Cottonwood Man Arrested On Drug And Weapons Charges

A Cottonwood resident is in jail on drug and weapons charges, after a joint effort by Partners Against Narcotics Trafficking, or PANT, and Cottonwood Police. PANT detectives received information that 41-year-old Chad Kime was involved in the sale of dangerous drugs and was illegally in possession of weapons. The Verde Valley SWAT team served an early morning search warrant at Kime’s home last Thursday. Detectives found fentanyl and drug paraphernalia along with weapons. Kime was not home at the time. On Monday, Cottonwood Police located and arrested Kime without incident. He was booked into jail on felony counts of possession of a narcotic drug, fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, and misconduct involving weapons.
