Cone Misses A Layup At The Buzzer As NAU Falls At Montana State 69-68 Thursday

The NAU Lumberjacks led second-place Montana State most of the game and most of the second half, however the Bobcats took the lead with three-seconds left on a layup. Jalen Cone then missed a layup at the buzzer as the Jacks fell 69-68 in Bozeman Saturday. Trent McLaughlin had a career-high 19 points and was five-of-seven from three-point range in the loss. Xavier Fuller added 17 and Jalen Cone chipped in with 13 for NAU. The Jacks will try and rebound as they head to Missoula to take on the Montana Grizzles Saturday night. Tip time is at 7 p.m.
