Coconino High School Put Into “Shelter-In-Place” For A Short Time Wednesday

Coconino High School was put into “shelter-in-place” for a short time Wednesday. Flagstaff Police advised school officials to call for the order as they investigated a suspicious car parked on campus. As the order was in place, classes and lessons continued inside. The order lasted about 15 minutes and the “shelter-in-place” was lifted with the matter resolved. When a “shelter-in-place” is called for, students and staff will remain in the building for safety and protection from any possible unsafe situation outside of the school.
