ADOT will be closing State Route 89A between Owenby Way and the Midgley Bridge picnic area in Sedona starting Tuesday.  Closures will be during 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will last through Wednesday.  Closures will take place again next Tuesday and Wednesday. ADOT says the closures have been set for the safety of work crews who will be doing rockfall mitigation as part of an ongoing improvement project. Drivers who normally use State Route 89A should allow for extra travel time and plan on using detours. More information on the project can be on the ADOT website.
