The CEO of Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprises is stepping down. Officials say Brian Parrish’s last day will be September 5th and he’s leaving to accept other employment. Quincy Natay, Board Chairman of the Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise says “under Brian’s leadership, over 84-percent of our work force are members of the Navajo Nation, and of our 275 leadership positions, 71-percent are in management and executive leadership positions.” He added, “under Brian’s direction, over the past few years, we’ve seen the development of Navajo brand food products, including Navajo Fizz, Navajo coffee products and specialty barbeque sauces.” Parrish is also key in working with Hard Rock Digital in building an on-site sportsbook and developing a business relation between the two. Matthew Shunkamolah, a member of the Navajo Nation, will assume Interim CEO duties and responsibilities.
