CCSO Looking For A Man Who Was Last Seen In The Lava River Cave Area North Of Flagstaff In 2020

The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information in connection with a man who has been missing for nearly three years. Authorities are looking for 58-year-old David Clark Wilkinson, who was last seen near Forest Service Road 245 in the Coconino National Forest in the summer of 2020. The area is popular for campers near Highway 180 and the Lava River Cave. During that time Wilkinson may have been traveling with one or two dogs and was likely driving a white 1997 Toyota Paseo. He was known to frequent the Phoenix and Prescott areas in 2019 and 2020. Wilkinson is a white male about five-feet-11 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds with graying hair, a graying beard and wears glasses. He may have suffered from a digestive medical issue that causes him to drink a large amount of buttermilk. Anyone who has had contact with Wilkinson, or knows his whereabouts is asked to call the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office at (928) 774-4523 or Silent Witness at (928) 774-6111.
