Bystanders Rush To Help A Woman Slumped Over A Steering Wheel Of A Moving Vehicle On Highway 89 Monday Morning

There was a wild situation on Highway 89 near Townsend Winona Road east of Flagstaff Monday morning. KAFF News tipster Kelly says she was getting gas at the Conoco station on Highway 89 at around 8:20 a.m. when she saw a car drive by with a man attached to it, trying to get in. Upon a closer look she says she saw a woman slumped over on the steering wheel. Another woman was also running toward the vehicle to try and help bring it to a stop.  All total, at least three people helped bring it to a stop. Kelly says once the vehicle stopped, she and a few others were able to get the woman upright. A Coconino County Sheriff’s deputy arrived shortly after and started life-saving measures on the woman. She says moments later many emergency personnel arrived to take over. While this was going on, Kelly tells us a woman arrived and started accosting the people trying to help. The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office says the woman suffered a possible medical situation, and there is no signs of drugs or alcohol. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
