Arizona Commerce Authority Invests $13-Million In NAU Regarding Semiconductor Manufacturing And Innovation

The Arizona Commerce Authority announced Thursday they are investing $13-million in Northern Arizona University to expand training and programs related to metrology, which is a foundational component of semiconductor manufacturing and innovation. State Representative David Cook says, “this initiative not only benefits rural Arizonans by offering them access to state-of-the-art education programs and career paths but also strengthens our entire state’s position in a critical, future-focused industry.” The investment is part of the ACA’s broader $100-million commitment to enhance semiconductor and microelectronics development in Arizona, underscoring the state’s commitment to technological leadership and economic growth.
