Arizona Public Service will close a short section of Brannigan Road, which is the Old Route 66, in Bellemont this week. APS officials say they need to replace infrastructure damaged by recent flooding on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. The closure will allows a crane space to safely move new equipment into place. The road closure is just west of the Pilot Travel Center and will not impact traffic into the truck stop or heading east into the neighborhoods. Crews will be working in the area beginning Tuesday and continuing through Friday. If you plan to be in the area during this time, use caution.
