ADOT is beginning lane restrictions Wednesday that will continue throughout the week on Interstate 40 east of Winslow. The roads will be restricted from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day. Traffic heading east and westbound on the I-40 between mileposts 263 and 267 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction. The speed limit will also be reduced and drivers should be prepared to come to a full stop when driving through the work zone. No work has been scheduled to happen during the weekend. If the lane restrictions are part of your daily commute, plan for extra time to get to your destination.
