Drivers heading east on Interstate-40 will need to plan for delays east of Flagstaff. ADOT crews started conducting pavement work on the interstate between Winona and Buffalo Range Road Monday, and will continue until December 8th. ADOT is narrowing I-40 to one lane in each direction from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and if needed, 6 a.m. until noon on Fridays. The speed limit will be reduced in the work zones and a 16-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place, however larger loads can be accommodated with 12 hours notice.
