A Tuba City Teen Is Arrested In Connection To Making Threats To Tuba City Schools

A Tuba City teen has been arrested in connection with several threats made to area schools. Navajo Police say they were made aware Monday of a person who was making school threats through a social media account. After obtaining a search warrant for the account, they arrested a 13-year-old boy at Tuba City Junior High School and charged him with multiple counts related to the threats. The investigation found the same account was used by the suspect when threats were made toward Tuba City High School and Tuba City Junior High dating back to January 24th. The 13-year-old was transported to the Navajo Department of Corrections Juvenile Center in Crownpoint, New Mexico.
