A Prescott Valley Man Was Found Guilty On Gun Charges In Connection With A Road Rage Incident Over A Parking Spot

A Prescott Valley man was found guilty last week of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct with a deadly weapon during a road rage incident over a parking space at a fast food restaurant.  Back in August of 2022, 33 year old David Lee Jones became upset when another driver pulled into a parking space that Jones wanted for himself. Jones used his car to block the other driver, and began yelling and swearing at the other driver. Jones then exited his car with a loaded gun in his hand and pointed the gun at the other driver as other people in the parking lot looked on, some in fear for their lives. Sentencing is scheduled for December 4th at 3:00 p.m. in Yavapai County Superior Court.  Jones is facing a minimum of five years in prison.
