A woman was arrested Friday afternoon after she sped away from a traffic stop on Interstate-40 in Flagstaff. DPS says state troopers received a call at around 12:47 p.m. for a speeding reckless driver on the highway. A small Kia sedan reportedly almost struck several semi-trucks, raced through a highway construction site almost hitting construction workers and then fled a traffic stop at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was reportedly stopped on Butler Avenue and the driver was taken into custody. There no injuries from the incident.
